Our 6-Step Process.

Hearthside Builders has developed a simple, 6-step process to make the home building experience enjoyable and stress-free.

Step 1: Introduction

Our Lifestyle Consultants create a working relationship with each potential homeowner to orient them to the lifestyle and benefits of living in our community. Along with Hearthside Builders’ Customer Care Manager, the Lifestyle Consultants provide the potential homeowner with information on home sites, home plans, exterior details, interior design features, special amenities and the details of construction-to-permanent financing. Once the soon-to-be-homeowner has found the right home and right home site for their needs, an Agreement of Sale is created.

Step 2: Home Site Closing Process

Once the Agreement of Sale has been received by Hearthside Builders, our Closing Coordinator contacts the homeowner. The Closing Coordinator will walk the homeowner through the process of moving forward with the construction-to-permanent financing and the closing on their new home site.

Step 3: Pre Construction Meeting & Selections

Prior to the start of construction, homeowners will be contacted by their Hearthside Builders’ Customer Care Manager to schedule a pre-construction meeting and selections appointment. At the pre-construction meeting, the homeowner and Customer Care Manager will review the home plan and design features and will finalize available personalized changes. In addition, the homeowner will be given their personal entry code to access the online Client Portal.

After the pre-construction meeting, the homeowner and Customer Care Manager will start selections at Hearthside Builders’ on-site selection center. The selections process allows homeowners the ability to further personalize their home by choosing the color and style selections of the many included features and design options of their new home.

Step 4: Construction

The construction phase is the longest part of our process. During this 4-5 month timeframe, the Customer Care Manager keeps in continuous contact with the homeowner ensuring that any questions they may have are always answered. The Customer Care Manager ensures that requested changes and selections are completed, as well as posts comments and weekly progress update photos of their house under construction to the online Client Portal. This online access allows homeowners the opportunity to view their home’s progress from the first stages of construction to the finishing touches. It also allows friends and family of the homeowner the chance to be a part of the exciting building process as well.

Step 5: Last Month Of Construction

About one month prior to the completion of the home, the Customer Care Manager will contact the homeowners to schedule an orientation meeting. During this time, our team will prepare the house for delivery to the homeowner by doing a thorough inspection and cleaning of the home.

Step 6: Orientation to Home

At the orientation meeting the homeowner will meet with Joy Gurley of Hearthside Builders to take possession of their new home. At this meeting, Joy will give the homeowners their builder’s warranty, explain details of the warranty and answer any questions they may have. Once the orientation is complete, homeowners will receive their keys.
